Shares of Dart Group Plc (LON: DTG) today surged 7.86%higher after the airline company announced that it intends to keep adding more destinations to its routes, and was still keen to keep prices as affordable as possible into the winter.
The airline company, which recently applied to change its name to JET2 Plc, clarified that it will add more routes even as the summer ends as it intends to attract more customers for the winter season.
Currently, winter bookings are below its revised capacity, which incorporates the recommended social distancing rules, and the firm hopes that its friendly prices will attract more customers for the rest of the year.
The company’s recent move to change its trading name to Jet2 Plc, which is the name of its airline, is motivated by its desire to align its entire business with its goal to become the leading UK leisure travel business.
