Over 3.67 million Amesite shares had changed hands at writing as investors piled into the company. However, as the buying slowed, the AMST stock had given up some of its gains at the time of writing.
Amesite’s presentation outlined a path to profitability with its branded online learning programs offered to various markets led by universities and colleges, which are its largest target market. The company also offers its education services to museums and businesses, which are a tiny fraction of its target market.
In addition, Amesite delivers revenue-generating certificate programs for universities and pre-college and industry-facing programs. It also delivers programs funded by governments or foundations, usually no-cost education initiatives. Finally, the firm delivers eCommerce and branding solutions that drive revenue and impact.
The company noted that it has a proven product that addresses a significant market need and targets high margins due to its lean operating model. The firm also told investors that it has highly scalable customer contracts that could generate higher revenues via its unique business model for the education sector.
The positive investor interest in the company triggered the rally, but the stock could not hold on to most of its gains and was up 20.6% at the time of writing.
